Practice Approach

I believe that relying solely on “a pill” isn’t the answer.  While medication can assist with physiological issues, it is just one aspect of the larger picture. The rest of the puzzle is completed through therapy, hard work, and a strong desire to get better.

I treat many different diagnoses, but I specialize in working with patients struggling with depression, anxiety, and bipolar spectrum disorders, as well as Healthcare workers struggling with burnout.

I offer comprehensive treatment that goes beyond medication management and therapy. As an integrative provider, I incorporate various methods to help you feel better. Together, we’ll create a comprehensive plan that considers your mind, body, and spirit, taking into account all factors that contribute to your well-being. Treatment modalities may include the following:

My services

  • Medication Management

Integrative psychiatry doesn’t mean anti-medication. My goal is to assist you in finding the most effective medication regimen that improves your well-being without causing unnecessary side effects. Psychotropic medication is primarily intended to address the physiological symptoms associated with your mental health disorder. The symptoms that are beyond your control. By utilizing evidence-based and neuroscience-backed approaches, I offer medication management that takes an integrative approach.

Together, we can work towards finding the best medication regimen that helps you feel better while minimizing any undesirable side effects. In addition, I provide holistic methods to offer extra support and help reduce your reliance on medication, if appropriate. Your well-being is my top priority, and I am dedicated to finding the most suitable solution for your needs.

  • Herbal and Plant-Based Medicine

Using herbal medicines, foods, and nutritional supplements, including vitamins and minerals, either alone or alongside conventional medication, can contribute to achieving optimal treatment outcomes. The use of herbal and plant-based medicine is based on the belief that these natural substances can help restore balance and promote health by addressing the underlying causes of illness, rather than just treating symptoms.

  • Genetic Testing

Every individual's body and mind are unique, and recent research has highlighted the influence of our genes on treatment response. By utilizing genetic testing, I can assess how you metabolize and react to specific medications, enabling us to personalize and optimize your medication regimen accordingly.
